I developed this routine after realizing that I had limited time with an ever-growing list of tasks. My workdays were inefficient, and I struggled to maintain a consistent fitness regimen. However, everyone has 30-minute blocks of work time, and it all comes down to how we utilize them.


I began to evaluate how much work I could accomplish within an hour or even just 30 minutes. That's when I had a revelation: focused work was far more productive than anything else. Sometimes, dedicating just 15 minutes of intense focus resulted in more achievements than an hour of scattered efforts.


My goal was to structure my life around the constraints of work and parenthood while incorporating focused work, fitness, and rest within a 30-minute timeframe. This led me to create the 15:10:5 formula.


By blending focused work, fitness, and brief moments of rest, this routine can help you optimize your time and achieve more throughout the day.

🕒 Step 1: 15 Minutes of Focused Work Set a timer for 15 minutes and embark on a focused work sprint.


During this time, eliminate distractions and give your undivided attention to the task at hand.

Whether it's a project, emails, or brainstorming ideas, immerse yourself fully.

By tapping into deep concentration, you'll experience amplified focus, increased output, and faster progress towards your goals.


💪 Step 2: 10 Minutes of Fitness: After your work sprint, shift gears and prioritize your physical well-being. Engage in a semi-intense fitness routine for 10 minutes.


Get outdoors and do sprints, bodyweight exercises, or any cardiovascular activity that gets your heart pumping and muscles working.

Push yourself to the limit and experience the rush of endorphins that enhance your mood and energy levels. This fitness sprint not only boosts your physical health but also stimulates your brain, making you ready for the next challenge.

Remember, you can push yourself as hard as your want to. It totally depends on your lifestyle and the setting where you are working. I like doing bodyweight and strength exercises because they are easy to get in the gear pretty quickly. I save high intensity workouts for a different part of the day when I can run with the twins for a solid 30 minutes. I came up with his method because I realize that I am not able to dedicate time to this consistently everyday.


🌟 Step 3: 5 Minutes of Rejuvenating Rest: Allow yourself a well-deserved break which can serve as a nice transition period between modes of work and fitness.


Take 5 minutes to recharge and rejuvenate.


Chat with someone, make a connection in your space.


Focus on deep breathing, stretch your body, or practice any relaxation technique that suits you.


This intentional rest period revitalizes your mind, prevents burnout, and ensures sustained productivity throughout the day. By prioritizing these moments of rejuvenation, you'll maintain clarity and perform at your best.


By alternating between these focused work sprints and invigorating fitness sprints, you create a dynamic rhythm that keeps you engaged, motivated, and at the top of your game.
